Bote Warranty
BOTE® offers a warranty policy for its paddle boards and related products, with specifics varying by product. The policy, which can be amended at any time, covers material or manufacturing defects, but not wear and tear, damage from misuse or external conditions, or performance for individual riders, and involves a claim process either directly with BOTE® or through an authorized dealer.

Shipping Policy
All orders placed on boteboard.com are processed within three business days of the date of order if the order is placed before 12:00 p.m. Any orders placed after 12:00 pm will be processed beginning on the day after the order was placed. You will receive an email notification after submitting your order, and another email notification when your order has shipped. Actual transit and delivery timeframes will differ depending on shipping method and destination. Geartopia™ reserves the right to amend this policy at any time without notice.

What is your return policy?
Geartopia Return Policy for BOTE® Products
In accordance with the terms of this policy, we facilitate returns within 30 days from the purchase date. If you wish to return a product, you will receive a refund via the original payment method, subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Please note that Rigid (Epoxy or Gatorshell) Paddle Boards, Skiffs, motors, and Face Masks are not eligible for return under this 30-day return policy. If you need guidance on choosing the most suitable product before making a purchase, do not hesitate to get in touch with us!
To qualify for a return, items must be in a like-new state with no visible wear signs and must be returned with all the original parts and accessories included.
All returned products will be thoroughly inspected at our distribution center upon receipt. If the product is found to be in poor condition, or if any original parts or accessories are missing, this may lead to a reduction in your refund.
The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Should you need a pre-paid shipping label, please contact us. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Geartopia reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice.
I purchase from an Autohorised Dealer, how do i initiate a return?
If your purchase was made through a dealer, please be aware that our return policies may not align. For details on returns, we advise reaching out directly to the dealer from whom you made the purchase.
I need to return a product but do not have the packaging?
All returns must be made with original packaging and all pieces. If you do not have the original packaging, we will not be able to accept your return.
How long do refund take to process?
The total return and refund process can take up to 10 calendar days after we receive the returned product.
Can i return a used product?
Returned items must be in new condition with no visible signs of wear and be returned with all originally included parts and accessories.
All products are inspected upon arrival at our distribution center. If the product is found to be in poor condition, or if any originally included parts or accessories are missing, this may reduce the amount of your refund. If you are having an issue or are dissatisfied with a used product please reach out and we will work towards a resolution with you. But we do not accept returns on used products.

Who pays the return shipping costs? Does Geartopia charge a restocking fee on returns?
The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Geartopia can provide you with a prepaid shipping label, however the return shipping costs will be deducted from your final refund. In addition, all returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. If you utilize your own shipping label, please be sure to keep a copy of the return tracking!

Can i exchange an item instead of returning it if i purchased my product online?
If your product is in like-new condition and within the 30 day return policy you may be able to return the product for a refund. This would be processed as a regular return and repurchase and the 20% restocking fee and return shipping costs would still apply to the return of the original product.
What is the Warranty Policy on Gear, Accessories and Coolers?
BOTE® KULA SOFTY SOFT-SIDE COOLERS
For the original retail purchaser (“Consumer”), BOTE® provides a limited two year warranty from date of purchase against material or manufacturing defects in cooler workmanship and welding.
If the warranty applies, BOTE® will repair, replace/provide replacement parts at its discretion, the cooler or any part or component that is deemed defective. BOTE® reserves the right to change products and designs without incurring any obligations to incorporate such changes into already completed products, or those in the hands of dealers or consumers. Coolers repaired or replaced under this warranty may or may not incorporate these changes.
This limited warranty does not apply to:
- Normal wear and tear and aging of the product
- Small parts such as buckles
- Cosmetic flaws or variations in color
- Product purchased second-hand or used
- Any puncture, cut or abrasion sustained in normal use or damage from unreasonable uses or improper storage, including subjecting the product to stress beyond the physical limits of the materials used in its construction.
- Any damage sustained while the product is in the possession of a freight carrier, a dealer, Consumer or any party other than BOTE®
- Any damage caused by accident, neglect, improper use or handling
- Any product used for any activity other than an activity that is customary for the product
- Any product used for commercial purposes
- Any product that has been lost or stolen
Except as expressly set forth herein, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BOTE® expressly disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, with regard to any BOTE® KULA Softy Soft-Side Coolers. Some state, country, or provincial laws do not allow the exclusion of certain implied warranties, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.
In no event shall BOTE® be liable for any incidental or consequential damages or expenses resulting from any defects in its products. BOTE®’s aggregate liability with respect to any product shall be limited to an amount equal to Consumer's original purchase price paid for the defective product.
To the extent any limitation or exclusion contained herein is contrary to applicable law, such limitation or exclusion shall be severable and all other terms herein shall remain in full force and effect and are valid and enforceable. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights. For Consumers who are covered by state, country or provincial consumer protection laws or regulations, the benefits from this warranty are in addition to all rights conveyed by such consumer protection laws.
BOTE® KULA GATORSHELL COOLERS

For the original retail purchaser (“Consumer”), BOTE® provides a limited 30-day warranty from date of purchase against material or manufacturing defects for a registered product.
The warranty does not apply to damage caused by:
- Use of the product in a manner inconsistent with the recommended operation procedures
- Use of accessories and parts not purchased from BOTE®
- Use of fuel, oil or lubricants other than those recommended in the Owner’s Manual
- Modification or removal of parts
- Routine maintenance needs or normal wear and tear (including cosmetic damages such as scratches or dents)
- Accidents, collisions or contact with foreign materials
- Product purchased second-hand or used
Please note that Hidea no longer offers service in the US. BOTE® is not the manufacturer of Hidea motors and does not offer service or repair aside from the 30 day limited warranty above.

If the warranty applies, BOTE® will repair or replace, at its discretion, the pack or any part or component that is deemed defective. BOTE® reserves the right to change products and designs without incurring any obligations to incorporate such changes into already completed products, or those in the hands of dealers or consumers. Packs repaired or replaced under this warranty may or may not incorporate these changes.
This limited warranty does not apply to:
- Normal wear and tear and aging of the product
- Small parts such as buckles
- Cosmetic flaws or variations in color
- Product purchased second-hand or used

For the original retail purchaser (“Consumer”), BOTE® provides a limited 90-day warranty from the date of purchase against material or manufacturing defects of parts, accessories, and outfitting.
This limited warranty does not apply to:
- Normal wear and tear and aging of product.
- Cosmetic flaws or variations in colors.
- Product purchased second-hand or used
- Use in excess of the manufacturers recommended maximum load capacity.
- Failure to comply with pressure recommendations, assembly / disassembly and handling procedures.
- Any puncture, cut or abrasion sustained in normal use or damage from unreasonable uses or improper storage.
- Product damaged by extreme weather or environmental conditions.
- Product damaged while in possession of a freight carrier, a dealer, Consumer, or any party other than BOTE®.
- Product damaged by accident, neglect, improper use or handling.
- Product designated as Prototypes.
- Product determined to have been used for any activity other than an activity which is customary for the product.
- Product that has been structurally or dimensionally altered or modified.
- Product used for commercial or rental purposes.
- Any product that has been lost or stolen
This limited warranty excludes all other warranties, expressed or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, with regard to the applicable part or accessory. Some state, country, or provincial laws do not allow the exclusion of certain implied warranties, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.
This limited warranty excludes any incidental or consequential damages or expenses resulting from any defects. BOTE®’s aggregate liability shall be limited to an amount equal to Consumer's original purchase price paid for the defective product. Some state, country, or provincial laws do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.
To the extent any limitation or exclusion contained herein is contrary to any country, state, or provincial law, such limitation or exclusion shall be severable and all other terms herein shall remain in full force and effect and are valid and enforceable. What is your solid paddle board warranty policy?
BOTE® PRODUCTS WITH GATORSHELL TECHNOLOGY AND HANDCRAFTED EPOXY BOARDS
For the original retail purchaser (“Consumer”), BOTE® provides a limited one year warranty from date of purchase against material or manufacturing defects in the hull and deck for a registered product.
If the warranty applies, BOTE® will repair, replace/provide replacement parts at its discretion, the board or any part or component that is deemed defective. BOTE® reserves the right to change products and designs without incurring any obligations to incorporate such changes into already completed products, or those in the hands of dealers or consumers. Boards repaired or replaced under this warranty may or may not incorporate these changes.
This limited warranty does not apply to:
- Normal wear and tear and aging of product.
- Cosmetic flaws or variations in color.
- Use in excess of the manufacturers recommended maximum load capacity.
- Failure to comply with pressure recommendations, assembly / disassembly and handling procedures.

- BOTE® or AeroBOTE® designated as Prototypes.
- BOTE® or AeroBOTE® sold as “demos” or in “as is” condition.
- BOTE® or AeroBOTE® determined to have been used for any activity other than an activity which is customary for the product.
- BOTE® or AeroBOTE® that have been structurally or dimensionally altered or modified.
- BOTE® or AeroBOTE® used for commercial or rental purposes.
Any product that has been lost or stolen

Do i need to complete a warranty registration?
Yes, all Gatorshell, AeroBOTES, Docks, Kayaks and Aero Seating need to have a warranty registration completed. If you need to register a product, please do so here.
Are your KULA Coolers BPA free?
Yes! Our KULAs are BPA free.
